A Godly man once said, “Living the Christian life is not hard, it’s impossible!”  Have you ever felt like that?  Just what did he mean?  He meant that God has made us dependent on Him and His strength!  We won’t ever be “good enough” and nothing we can do gets us to heaven.  So how can you make sure that you’re going to heaven?  The bible is very clear.

First, we admit that we are not perfect and that we're in need of a Savior (“…all have sinned and fallen short of the glory of God.”  Romans 3:23)

Second, we must believe that Jesus died for our sins, and that He can save you from going to hell. 
(“…the wages of sin is death, but the gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus.”  Romans 6:23)

Third, we must confess this truth with our mouth and accept the FREE gift of a new life that Jesus offers. 
(“…if you confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord and believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead, you will be saved.”  Romans 6:23)

If you believe that today, and desire for Jesus to come into your heart, pray this prayer:

“God thank you for loving me.  I admit that I am a sinner and need to be forgiven for my sins.  Thank you for sending your son Jesus to earth to die for me and to forgive me of my sins.  I ask that you come into my heart today and believe that only you can change my life.  I love you.  In Jesus name, Amen.”

If you prayed that prayer today and truly meant it from your heart, you have a new life in Christ Jesus!  Your decision to accept Christ is the MOST IMPORTANT decision you’ll ever make.
